2011 was the start of Rockingham County Champions for Education work that primarily used social interactions and events to raise small-dollar scholarships to graduating seniors from the four major Rockingham County High Schools, as well as serving as a conduit for increasing professional networking with former students who have found s
2011 was the start of Rockingham County Champions for Education work that primarily used social interactions and events to raise small-dollar scholarships to graduating seniors from the four major Rockingham County High Schools, as well as serving as a conduit for increasing professional networking with former students who have found success in the professional world through communication, outreach, and education.
Approved for 501 C 3 status in 2015, RCCE began a partnership with the Reidsville Area Foundation (RAF) in 2016. That partnership involved the expansion of an existing RAF program that was focused on lending support to students, teachers, and parents of potentially disadvantaged Rockingham County students in grades K-5.
In 2019, the Reidsville Tigers Football and Cheer Program became the flagship program that promotes active living, healthy eating, and career pathway support in athletic arenas.
